Jon Alban Singer/Songwriter.
Jon Alban, He was born in England and studied here in Australia. He is a Singer/ Songwriter, Jon first learned to played Keyboards and played in a band with his two brothers and two other members. They brokeup and later reformed with one of his brothers and a friend of theirs. They all composed their own individual instrumentals for the project. That lineup also brokedown, they continued together and Jon decided a solo album was the best move he could make. To compose songs that are more expressive, his own edgy, fluid sound.
It took two years to write and record the album, mainly because of a limited budget. Jon also learned to play guitar while he was writing and arranging all the tracks for the album. The percussion and bass are electronic, Jon used electronic keyboards and he also sings all the songs. “ I am very happy with the recording of my first album, Coalsack”.
The Album Coalsack was released on 25-August-2014 with iMusician Digital And played on internet radio soon after. Rereleased on 30-June -2015.
Jon Alban’s music is a Blend of Blues, Rock and Electronic Sounds.
